A series of special spring Caribbean travel packages feature some of the Caribbean’s most popular destinations, all offering top-drawer beaches, an array of watersports, and activities for warm-weather vacationers of every stripe, from adrenaline-fueled adventurers to hammock-bound sun-worshippers.
The Turks & Caicos’ West Bay Club is located on Grace Bay Beach, one of the finest white-sand beaches in the world. The resort is hosting a Weekend Fitness Retreat featuring celebrity trainer Courtney Paul on May 15 to 17. Paul’s weekend course will combine rigorous outdoor workouts on beautiful Grace Bay Beach with relaxing spa treatments and a healthy menu featuring local seafood and fresh fruit.
The package includes a three-night stay in a one-bedroom suite or studio; an all-inclusive, healthy menu; four training sessions on the beach; a $50 credit for the resort’s Anani Spa; and complimentary airport transfers. Packages start at $1,900 per person.
Much like the West Bay Club, the Occidential Grand Aruba resort is located on one of the Caribbean’s best white-sand beaches, in this case Aruba’s Palm Beach. The recently renovated, family friendly property also features a clover leaf-shaped pool with a waterfall and whirlpool tubs, an international buffet-style restaurant and an on-property fitness center.
During the resort’s Easter Week Special, guests who book by April 5 for stays between March 30 and April 5 receive discounted rates of $279 per person, per night, double occupancy. The rate represents a 32 percent discount off standard prices. Occidental is also offering a Family Fun package featuring the same rate and discount for bookings made by April 30 for travel from now through April 30.
The Dominican Republic’s 7,000-acre luxury resort Casa de Campo will host classical tenor star Andrea Bocelli, at its 5,000-seat amphitheater Altos de Chavon on April 4. The event will kick off Casa de Campo’s 2015 concert series. Tickets for Bocelli’s concert will be priced at $107 (general admission), $265 (VIP) and $717 special guests)
The resort’s concert packages are priced at $557 per person, per night and include Elite room accommodations, one concert ticket per adult, all meals and drinks, unlimited horseback riding and non-motorized water sports at Minitas Beach. Altos de Chavon is the resort’s artisan’s village, which is modeled after a 16th century Mediterranean town with boutique shops, museums.
A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, the resort also features five Pete Dye-designed golf courses (including famed Teeth of the Dog), a 370-slip Marina & Yacht Club, a Polo & Equestrian Club, plus skeet and trap shooting at the 245-acre Shooting Club.
