If you've ever wanted to become a star simply by taking part in a new travel experience, now is your chance.
Tahiti Tourisme has launched an unprecedented digital content campaign this month known as "Two Stories/One Mana" that features a video series documenting the experiences of real-life couples as they immerse themselves in The Islands of Tahiti.
The series premiered March 1. Chapter 2 debuted Wednesday while a third episode will be released March 30.
In all three chapters, the couples were separated from each other and sent on different daily adventures, including scuba diving, hiking, horseback riding and cultural excursions.
"I loved the different sides of Mana. On the one hand, I found all this adventure, but I also got to really relax and have a deeper, spiritual experience," said Chapter 2 co-star Leah.
"I’d like to go back and experience new things, like exploring in the jungle and parasailing."
"These days people really want to get away from it all and have a transformational experience on their vacation, and The Islands of Tahiti are the perfect place to find meaningful inspiration," said Tahiti Tourisme CEO Paul Sloan in a statement.
Sloan added that Two Stories/One Mana is designed to highlight the diversity and spirit of The Islands of Tahiti in an authentic way.
Tahiti Tourisme is now looking for more couples and families to star in upcoming episodes.
"For the global audition, we will again seek out real travelers who are relatable, and whose genuine experiences captured on film will resonate with people," said Sloan.
Couples and families hoping to be selected for Chapters 4-6 can audition by creating a 15-second video saying what inspires them about Tahiti as well as their three favorite activities to do in Tahiti. Applicants should post said videos to social media, using the hashtag #TakeMeToTahiti.
Videos can be submitted on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
The casting call ends April 5, and participants will be announced in late April before being flown to Tahiti to begin filming in June.
Two Stories/One Mana represents the second phase of Tahiti Tourisme's "Embraced By Mana" global destination campaign. Launched last year, it aims to reset travelers' expectations as well boost the Islands of Tahiti's share of global tourism in the South Pacific.
The campaign includes a microsite embracedbymana.com where travelers can watch the latest episodes of Two Stories/One Mana, find out more about the casting call and learn about special travel offers.
