The Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau announced a new tourism campaign last week, dubbed Beverly Hills: City of WELLTH.
The WELLTH campaign was inspired by the terms wealth, health and wellness. It will utilize leading experts for a season of mindfulness activities in an effort to move away from a drive for money and possessions to a more valuable life that encompasses wellness, health, purpose and happiness.
To celebrate the launch of the tourism campaign, author Jason Wachob led a forum highlighting the WELLTH concept, which included other speakers such as Caley Alyssa, Matthey Kenney, Dana Claudat, James Duigan and Charlie Knowles.
"I'm thrilled to be involved with the launch of the City of WELLTH," supermodel Christie Brinkley said in a statement.
"A healthy, holistic lifestyle has been intrinsic to my long career in the fashion and beauty industry. A balanced approach to diet, exercise and mindfulness is the key to happiness and lifelong vitality. Wellness is glamorous!"

Some of the properties involved include the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Beverly Hilton, Beverly Wilshire, Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel, Montage Beverly Hills, The Peninsula Beverly Hills, SIXTY Beverly Hills, Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hills and Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills.
In addition, there are restaurants throughout the area showcasing specials featuring locally sourced, plant-based, vegan, paleo or utilizing meat that is grass-fed and/or hormone-free. Participating establishments can be found on the official website of the Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau.
