WHY IT RATES: CCE has new Croatian brand of hotels and Eva LaRue will be the brand ambassador - Eric Bowman, TravelPulse Senior Editor
The new Croatian brand of unique luxury hotels was presented, March 1, during the ILHA (International Luxury Hotel Association) European Summit held in Rovinj, Croatia. It is a brand of the Unique Luxury Hotels Group founded within the CCE last year in order to achieve the strongest possible positioning of special Croatian hotels on the international luxury tourism market. The brand ambassador will be famous actress Eva LaRue known for her roles as Natalia Boa Vista on CSI: Miami.
“I am honored to be an ambassador for the new brand Stories and for the opportunity to be part of this unique, luxury travel experience and with hotels that pride themselves in offering their patrons individualized ambiance and experiential memories. My future story about the Croatian unique hotels will be only one part of the mosaic of experiences, adventures and authentic stories that you can retell after you have visited Croatia and these hotels”, said Eva LaRue.
The luxury consumers of today are looking for unique experiences and destinations that can offer authentic natural wonders combined with a rich culture and history. Providing original experiences is exactly the essential quality of Stories, the Croatian Unique Hotels - a common brand of the Unique Luxury Hotels Group founded within the CCE. The Stories brand matches the modern consumers’ wishes with the beauty of Croatia and the uniqueness of carefully selected hotels, thus creating one-of-a-kind experiences worth recounting. The "You Are the Writer" slogan invites the hotel guests to retell and share their authentic experiences with others.
"Global trends show that luxury consumers prefer having exclusive experiences than buying material goods and that is their main criterion for selection of a hotel. It is my pleasure to announce that, following the global trends and the Croatian tourism development strategy, which promotes upgrading of the hotel accommodation quality and creating a content-rich tourism portfolio, the CCE has built a platform for founding of the Unique Luxury Hotels Group, which encompasses all of the mentioned qualities, letting us introduce today their common brand, “Stories”, said the CCE’s Tourism Sector Director, Ms. Leila Kresic-Juric.
The hotels are located in city palaces, hidden on the cliffs above the sea or among olive groves of feudal manors, the luxury is interwoven with their foundations and architecture, and each of them offers authentic experiences. For example, the Lesic Dimitri Palace will take you on an opulent journey of Marco Polo, the Kazbek Villa will introduce you to the everyday life of Dubrovnik noblemen and show you their Renaissance summer residences, the Meneghetti Villa will reveal the secret of how one of the best Croatian wines are made and the Vestibule Palace will reveal you the secrets of Diocletian's Palace’s cellars.
“Currently, the Stories hotels include 16 exceptional, carefully selected hotels, which had to meet strict standards in order to become members. Most of our hotels are winners of prestigious international awards, a few of them are members of the world-renowned hotel associations, and two restaurants from our group have been recommended by the Michelin guide. With this new brand and a common appearance on the market, our goal is to position Croatia as a special, luxury tourism destination”, said Mr. Nenad Nizic, the Chairman of the Unique Luxury Hotels Group at the CCE.
Stories, the Croatian Unique Hotels has become the first brand of carefully selected unique luxury hotels, including: The Kazbek Hotels, The Pucic Palace and Villa Dubrovnik in Dubrovnik, Adriana Hotel on the island of Hvar, Adriatic Hotels, Meneghetti, San Rocco and Valamar Isabella in Istria, Lesic Dimitri Palace on the island of Korcula, Alhambra Hotel in Mali Losinj, Bevanda and Navis Hotels in Opatija, Vestibul Palace Hotel in Split, Life Palace Hotel in Sibenik, Martinis Marchi castle on island of Solta and Bastion Hotel in Zadar.
The visual identity of the brand combines the main motive of a Croatian red square with a handwritten note about an authentic experience in Croatia.
