CCRA Unveils Top-Selling Cities for Summer Travel
What are the hottest-selling cities this summer? According to CCRA Travel Commerce Network’s agent bookings, Las Vegas, Paris and Edinburgh are proving the most popular.
The results were based on hotel bookings made through the company’s CCRAtravel.com and hotel reservations portal, and air bookings through its AirSelect Central booking engine for travel between June 21 and Sept. 22.
In terms of hotel bookings, Las Vegas and New Orleans captured the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively. Rounding out the list of 10 were Myrtle Beach, S.C.; New York City; Seattle; Orlando; Traverse City, Mich.; Chicago; Miami and Atlanta.
This year marks the first time Traverse City, Chicago and Atlanta made the list.
Paris was the No. 1 destination in a list of 10 gleaned from AirSelect Central data, followed by Rome, Vancouver, Amsterdam, Barcelona, London, Edinburgh, Florence, Switzerland’s Grindelwald and Munich.
Edinburgh, Florence Grindelwald and Munich made the list for the first time this year.
It was indeed a good year for Edinburgh. The destination captured the No. 1 spot of five based on bookings made through CCRA’s AirSelect booking engine. The Scottish city was trailed Venice, Copenhagen, St. Croix and Paris, respectively.
