TripAdvisor unveiled its restaurant portion of the 2016 Travelers' Choice Awards, throwing down a gauntlet of bucket list locations you will want to add immediately to your hypothetical itinerary.
The travel website has a trove of top picks across a swath of industries, including hotels, destinations and even beaches.
But recently it released some lists that are far more delectable.
Tops on the International side of things is Martín Berasategui, which you can view in all its splendor thanks to YouTube.
One recent comment from the website offered: "My wife and I ate there and loved every minute and every dish. Ambiance and excellent food. No regrets."
The list follows with France's romantic Maison Lameloise at No. 2; L'Auberge de I'ill from Illhaeusern in the no. 3 spot and Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons (Great Milton, UK) and Ristorante Don Alfonso 1890 (Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, Italy) rounding out the top five.
The United States was represented in the global countdown with the eclectic and innovative Alinea.
Here is how the World list followed with restaurants six through nine: Alinea (Chicago, Ilinois); Waterside Inn (Bray on Thames, UK); Voila Bistro (Paraty, Brazil); Adam's (Birmingham, UK); and Azurmendi Gastronomico (Larrabetzu, Spain).

TripAdvisor has a breakdown of those highly regarded American restaurants, which is topped by none other than the above-mentioned Alinea, which will have you rethinking not only how food can taste but how it might be presented.

No. 3 - Per Se (New York City, New York)
No. 4 - Halls Chophouse (Charleston, South Carolina)

No. 7 - Daniel (New York City, New York)
No. 8 - Restaurant Gary Danko (San Francisco, California)
No. 9 - The French Laundry (Yountville, California)
No. 10 - Mama's Fish House (Paia, Hawaii)
Saying that you have experienced just one of these restaurants is enough to consider your travels a job well done.
