"Star Wars" fans have a new reason to celebrate, as Disney officials have revealed a sneak preview of the proposed new portion of the Disneyland amusement park themed after the classic science fiction films.

According to Disney’s official blog, park officials have released the first glimpse into what the new "Star Wars"-themed area at Disneyland will look like when completed. The image was posted on the fence along Big Thunder Trail in Frontierland, near one of the future entrances to the new construction.

The "Star Wars"-themed area will be a 14-acre development, making it the largest-ever single-themed land expansion at Disneyland Resort. The image also reveals several projects that should get fans of the movie franchise excited.

The new "Star Wars" land will feature familiar markets, landing zones and buildings, including the Millennium Falcon sitting inside a cargo bay which marks the location of a ride based on the famed Corellian freighter.

Disney’s official Twitter account shared the artist’s rendering of the new Star Wars land:

While no update has been provided by on a potential opening date for the area, fans of the movie franchise must be patient as the new construction projects are being built at both Disneyland and Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.
