Disney's Hollywood Studios announced Monday that guests will have the chance to experience the "Star Wars" brand every day of the year when the park opens the first series of movie-based attractions on Dec. 1.
According to Thomas Smith of the Disney Parks Blog, one of the first attractions opening will be "Star Wars Launch Bay." Guests will be transported into the world of the latest movie in the series-"Star Wars: The Force Awakens"- with special exhibits, behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, merchandise and meet-and-greet opportunities with Chewbacca and Darth Vader.
An attraction getting a major overhaul is "Star Tours - The Adventures." Using scenes, images and characters from the new movie, fans of the "Star Wars" franchise will be able to take a virtual tour onboard the Starspeeder 1000.

Disney also revealed new information about the "Star Wars: Path of the Jedi" attraction, stating that it will encompass bits and pieces from the entire film library. This ride will be a great introduction to people who are not fans of the movie franchise.
Another attraction gaining some attention is "Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple," which is scheduled to open in early December. Geared toward younger children, the Jedi training will be based off the Disney XD series, "Star Wars Rebels."
The company also talked about the construction of the 14-acre, Star Wars-themed portion of the Disney's Hollywood Studios amusement park. With the project underway, the facility will no longer host "Star Wars" Weekends.
Losing the weekend festivities is a temporary price to pay for a long-term "Star Wars" fix.
