While countless tourists flock to Europe each year to take in breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and other iconic attractions, they all pale in comparison to Ireland's Guinness Storehouse — for 2015 at least.
The Dublin-based attraction was recently named the No. 1 attraction in Europe during a World Travel Awards ceremony in Sardinia.

"In what is shaping up to be a record year for the tourism sector, this win confirms that we must be getting something right," Failte Ireland chief executive Shaun Quinn told the Daily Mail.
"When you consider that this was an open worldwide public vote and that the Storehouse beat back competition from the Acropolis, Buckingham Palace, the Colosseum and the Eiffel Tower, you know that the Storehouse must be delivering what visitors want — truly authentic and memorable experiences," the National Tourism Development Authority leader added.
In addition to featuring the world's largest pint glass and a rooftop bar, the seven-story attraction is practically overflowing with the beloved Irish dry stout as well as history of the beer, which dates back in the mid-18th century.
Since opening nearly a decade ago, the Storehouse has hosted approximately 13 million visitors, with the Irish Times reporting that 92 percent of all visitors are foreigners. In 2014, American, British, French, German and Italian visitors were among the most common.
Founded by Arthur Guinness back in 1759, Guinness has become one of the world's most popular and recognizable beers. Today, travelers can order the stout in more than 100 countries.
Past winners of the award include the Acropolis of Athens (2014), the Eiffel Tower (2013) and the London Eye (2012).
