Five Musts To Do In Guanajuato
Guanajuato has been named by many travelers as one of the most beautiful locations in all of Mexico, and it’s easy to see why.
The city boasts an eclectic yet visually stunning assortment of settings that would serve as the ideal picture-perfect backdrop for a travel postcard. The rolling hills are dotted with brightly-colored buildings and charming homes, providing an eye-catching view from anywhere in the vicinity.
The city offers so much to do that it can be tough to figure out which you should choose first. Here are five activities we suggest.
Explore the colorful and surprising landscapes
One of the most striking features of Guanajuato is the city’s interesting layout, and the fact that it consists of a mix of winding hills, cobblestone alleys, hidden staircases and other surprises that can often make the area seem like a puzzle made up of all sorts of random pieces that somehow all fit together perfectly. Tourists often enjoy exploring the terrain without any set destination. It can be easy to get lost, but the general rule is that if you just head downhill, you will usually end up in the main part of town.
