Driving around Fort Lauderdale is so passe, at least during the summer months.
Starting on May 20, visitors can see some of the area's top cultural sites, shops and eateries via water taxi.
Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District is offering its Waterful Tours from May 20 to Oct. 29, beginning at 9:30 a.m. The rides include admission to two of the three cultural stops along the way, including the NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale-the hub of the South Florida Art Coast and home to 25,000 square feet of exhibition space.
The tour also visits the Historic Stranahan House Museum, the oldest surviving structure in Broward County. It was built in 1901 as the original trading post for the early pioneers and Seminole Indians.
Visitors can also stop at the History Museum Fort Lauderdale, which is the only pioneer village in South Florida and is the oldest collection of historic buildings in Broward County.
Waterful Tours has all-day access to the water taxi, which is like an all-access pass for visitors to the Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment district.

Other points of interest in the district include the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, the Florida Grand Opera and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
Passes are $38, and children under age 5 are free.
Water taxi passes also come with discounts to area restaurants and merchants as well as savings at the Galleria at Fort Lauderdale.
