The West is ready to reap the rewards of an El Nino ski season, which has already gotten off to an early start. Several resorts in Colorado, California and Utah have benefitted from winter storms and have opened ahead of schedule this year. The excitement building, along with feet of snow, is palpable.

Finding the right lodging to complement your ski trip is one of the key aspects to the perfect winter vacation and InvitedHome is making it easy for large groups to find their ultimate ski escape.

The vacation home rental company offers 200 retreats in nine iconic resort destinations, providing travelers with the same level of service and quality as luxury hotel accommodations. Each of their properties is distinct and full of amenities, from outdoor hot tubs to movie theaters, game rooms and ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes. InvitedHome also provides its guests with access to a  knowledgeable local staff who are on-hand 24/7 to provide recommendations or troubleshoot, similar to a hotel concierge.

This winter, InvitedHome has highlighted several of its properties in Colorado and California as its picks for the ultimate ski experience.

At Joyful Noise Lodge, guests will find a six-bedroom ski-in, ski-out lodge in Mountain Village that is beautifully designed and includes a gourmet kitchen, a game room, a saltwater hot tub and nine fireplaces – quite possibly the ultimate après ski solace. With four master suites and adjoining guest apartment the property is ideal for entertaining and relaxing with family and friends.

Steamboat’s Valley Vista is aptly named as it provides its guests with 180-degree views of Mount Werner, Fish Creek Falls and the Yampa River from windows 25 feet high. The six-bedroom lodge offers luxury log-cabin-style accommodations for 12 guests, including a hot tub and three outdoor decks.

In Vail, InvitedHome highlights Quantum. This 9,500-square-foot, six-bedroom contemporary estate was designed by Gordon Pierce and is one of the company’s most coveted properties. It boasts ski-in, ski-out access (via Vail’s Born Free catwalk), a private ski locker with boot and glove warmers, outdoor hot tub, media room with wet bar, gym, spa therapy room and in-home elevator. Rates start at a mere $20,000 per night.

South Lake Tahoe

Guests can reside in luxury in South Lake Tahoe at the massive Titan At Toiyabe. It is a 7,200-square-foot home that sports a full deck on every level, an indoor pool, a hot tub and a sauna. Heavenly Resort is just minutes away, or you can hike to the top of the mountain from trails right out the back door. For those days you just want to chill inside, don’t forget to mention the home’s theater, foosball table and ping-pong.

For those ready to hit the slopes, InvitedHome provides a seamless booking experience, an abundance of information on each home, with maps of property locations, detailed photographs and personalized service via online chat or via telephone.
