Hunting Down Pokemon at New Zealand's Top Tourism Sights

New Zealand’s top attractions have been overrun — by Pokemon of course. Have you ever wondered what Pikachu might be up to in Hobbiton? Now you can find out.
“Since the newest gaming craze ignited and spread across the planet, Pokemon have begun popping up in all sorts of mysterious places - revealing New Zealand as a natural haven and the ideal environment to go after these critters on your way to becoming a Pokemon master,” finds New Zealand Tourism, which has put together a handy guide for finding these elusive creatures around the country.
Some of the top attractions in the country are fertile grounds for Pokemon hunters. Hobbit is among them, but so are places such as Cathedral Cove on the Coromandel Peninsula and the South Island’s stunning Abel Tasman National Park.
