If you are looking for an adventure destination for your spring break pursuits, maybe you should take a look at San Antonio, Texas.
San Antonio is showing off its adventurous side and trying to entice adrenaline seekers this spring — and there are a lot of activities to back up its claims as the next adventure hot spot.
For example, don’t just stroll the city’s famous River Walk, see it from a kayak. The southern stretch of the River Walk known as the Mission Reach is a wildflower-lined section that connects four of the city’s Spanish colonial missions.
Visitors can also go spelunking. Even first-timers can explore the Natural Bridges Caverns. There’s the ultimate underground adventure, which includes climbing, hiking, rappelling and more or just take a walk through the caves to see the towering stone monuments.
If travelers really want to take things up a notch, Texas Hill Country may just be best viewed from the sky and Skydive San Marcos will take you straight to 12,000 feet for thrilling dive you will, likely, never forget.
