Now's the Perfect Time For a Caribbean Getaway with These Great Deals

There’s never a bad time to visit the Caribbean. Travelers to the region don’t have to worry about seasonal changes. The sun-filled skies, crisp blue waters and diverse cultures are always a part of the experience, year-around.
The Caribbean’s consistency means vacationers of almost every stripe, from romantic couples to families to groups of friends, will find sun-and-fun travel experiences that create lifelong memories in the Caribbean this spring and summer. Resorts in several regional destinations are offering packages targeted at a variety of travelers.
In the Lap of Luxury
Several options are available for vacationers who prefer upscale accommodations. The 91-room Gansevoort Turks + Caicos is offering “Every Fourth Night Free” packages, with rates starting at $595 per person, per night.
Located on picture-perfect Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, the upscale resort features oversized guest rooms including four oceanfront penthouse suites. There resort also features a 7,000 square-foot, infinity-edge, ocean-view swimming pool; a spa a fully-equipped fitness center, and a gourmet Mediterranean restaurant.
Another premium property, the Viceroy Anguilla, is offering a complimentary fifth night plus a $1,000 resort credit to travelers who book three- to five-bedroom villas for stays between May 1 and Aug. 23, 2015. Travelers can use the credits for spa treatments or toward dining in any of the resort’s five restaurants.
Each 4,335 square-foot villa features a full kitchen, a dining room, a living room, marble bathrooms with soaking tubs and oversized, walk-in showers. Outdoor spaces feature private pools, chaise lounges, barbecue grills, cabanas and outdoor showers. Rates start at $2,550 per night for a four-bedroom villa.
Family travel is also in play in the Caribbean this spring and summer. The Bahamas’ Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour Marina is offering “Take Mama to Bahama” Mother’s Day packages featuring a $250 airfare credit, a private beach cabana massage for mom, daily breakfast and roundtrip airport transfers. The packages start at $270 per person.
Abaco Beach Resort is also offering “Fourth of July Endless Weekend Celebration” packages. The amenities include an excursion to Elbow Cay including round-trip water taxi transfers; a Guana Cay beach and sun experience including round-trip water taxi service; a Fourth of July beach barbecue and fireworks display and breakfast daily. Rates start at $231 per person, per night.
Travelers who want more than one Caribbean destination while on vacation are also in luck. Sandals Resorts has launched an “Island Hopping” program offering guests opportunities to divide their stay among multiple islands and company resorts.
For example travelers will have the option of splitting a stay between Sandals Emerald Bay Gold, Tennis and Spa Resort in Great Exuma, Bahamas and Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island in Nassau. Vacationers could also combine stays at two of Sandals’ newest resorts, Sandals Barbados and Sandals LaSource Grenada Resort & Spa, in one trip. Sample itineraries and fares are available on Sandals’ website.
Sandals is also celebrating the recent launch of the Ochi Beach Club resort, the newly renovated Ocho Rios, Jamaica property formerly known as the Sandals Grande Riviera. The new property’s “You Pick It” packages provide guests with credits of $350 to enjoy services at the resort’s Red Lane Spa or an excursion in the Ocho Rios area with Caribbean tour and excursion provider Island Routes.
The packages are available to guests who book six-night stays by April 24, 2015 and travel from now through Dec. 26, 2016. Guests can choose from nearly 60 Island Routes excursions across Ocho Rios and more than 30 services available at Sandals Ochi’s two spas.
