Las Vegas may not hold any connections to our nation’s independence, but it is certainly connected to the idea of celebration. Daytime temperatures keep people relaxing poolside — or living it up at one of the city’s many pool clubs — during the day but the fun really begins when the sun sets and the fireworks come out.

Here is your guide to the best in Vegas for Fourth of July.

Fireworks Displays

The fireworks aren’t limited to just Independence Day. Get to Vegas early — like a couple of days early — to get the most “bang” for your buck.

The Stratoshpere will have a fireworks show by Grucci on July 4 at 9 p.m.

Caesars Palace will also host a fireworks display with live music on July 3. There will be signature cocktails, games, patriotic decorations and barbecue from noon to midnight, recreating a typical American-style block party.

Mandalay Bay Beach will light up on July 2 and 3 with fireworks and performances by the band 311.

Stations Casino properties will be lighting up the sky on the Fourth of July from their properties around the valley, Green Valley Ranch Resort and Red Rock Resort, at 9 p.m.

The city of Henderson holds an annual July Fourth celebration at Mission Hills Park with live music, games, activities and fireworks at 9 p.m.

Where to Watch

For those looking to see the fireworks, you are going to want to go high. Look for bars and restaurants with views that overlook the strip, such as Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay, Ghostbar at the Palms or Voodoo Roof Nightclub at Rio. For dining, there’s Alize at the Palms and the Eiffel Tower restaurant at Paris.

The Delano invites guests to sip on cocktails and watch the fireworks at Rivea and the Skyfall Lounge perched on top of the hotel. There are views of the strip, meals created by Chef Alain Ducasse and signature themed cocktails.

The Stratosphere will host a Fourth of July rooftop pool party with a DJ, live entertainment and an open bar starting at 6 p.m. There’s another Fourth of July party at the Elation Pool with a performance by Yellow Brick Road, starting at 5 p.m.

The LINQ is also the perfect place to watch the fireworks over Sin City. The High Roller will be offering special Fourth of July packages for the celebration.
