One of the biggest sensations in popular culture is the quest to find out the truth about aliens, and one resort owner in Baker, California, has opened an homage to the extraterrestrials with a two-story UFO-stylized hotel.

According to a statement from the hotel - called UFO Hotel - the construction project will cost $30 million to complete and will feature 31 rooms within a two-floor building designed to look like a traditional unidentified flying object.

The building project, which is in pre-construction development, is spearheaded by owner Luis Ramallo, and he will be sparing no expense inside. Each room will have an alien theme, and the building will have an alien-themed restaurant and lobby.

When asked about the construction, Ramallo said, "We are tremendously excited about developing the first authentic UFO Hotel in the world, not just in America. There are tens of millions of Sci-Fi and UFO fans in the world who have been dreaming of a venue just like this. They will finally have it. It will be out of this world. When you enter the hotel, you will feel as if you've been transported to an actual spaceship."

When arriving at the UFO Hotel once it is completed, guests will be greeted by alien-uniformed employees who will use modern earthling technology to check guests in and accommodate them as necessary. The walls, floor and ceilings in public areas will also be decorated to look like the inside of a spaceship.

Add in the fact that there will also be an alien-themed spa, nightclub and other attractions-including a marriage cathedral where customers can wear alien costumes-and this should be any Sci-Fi fan's dream hotel.

Ramallo is heavily invested in the project, but is looking to collect extra capital and is trying to find new investors. He has even used the popular fundraising site, Kickstarter. He is hoping to entice those with the same love of aliens into helping make his dream come true.

As for the room rates, the UFO Hotel will be competitively priced starting at around $300 a night.
