Mere days remain until Cyber Monday, the one-day, post-Thanksgiving period during which online shoppers can expect to find some of the year's best bargains. This year's edition will surely excite the passions of holiday travelers as several properties across the Caribbean are offering Cyber Monday discounts of 20 percent to 75 percent off published rates. The packages allow vacationers to escape wintry weather for the region's golden sunshine and beautiful blue waters at significantly lower prices.
Of course, the offers are good for only the 24 hours that encompass Dec.1. However the discount offers are available at some of the best resorts in several of the region's most popular destinations. For example, Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is offering a discounted rate of $389 per night to vacationers who book stays between January 1 and April 11, 2015 on December 1. The Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort - Curacao is offering 40 percent off the best available rate to travelers who book stays between Dec. 1, 2014 and Sept. 30, 2015.
In Barbados, the Crystal Cove - Barbados is offering all-inclusive rates of $179 per person, per night, reflecting 45 percent off published rates for vacationers who book December 1. The Cyber Monday rates apply to travel from Jan. 2 to Sept. 30, 2015. Also the island's Turtle Beach - Barbados resort is offering all-inclusive nightly rates of $169 to $199 per person, reflecting savings of up to 55 percent off the property's published rates. The offer is valid for travel from Jan. 2 through Sept. 30, 2015.
Puerto Rico's holiday celebrations are second to none, and in honor of the island's reputation for raucous revelry, the San Juan Marriott is offering rates starting at $149 per night, a discount of 40 percent off published prices, for travel from January 3 to June 30, 2015. Travelers searching for the a more intimate experience on one of the Caribbean's smaller islands can venture to pristine St. Kitts, where the St Kitts Marriott & the Royal Beach Casino is offering guests who book three nights or more rates starting at $93, representing 50 percent off published rates for travel from January 3 to Sept.15, 2015.
Geographically speaking, the Bahamas is actually outside of the Caribbean region but that doesn't mean this warm-weather paradise isn't getting in on the Cyber Monday offers.
The Grand Lucayan resort on Grand Bahama Island, which features multiple pools, an expansive spa and multiple restaurants set along a footprint-perfect white and beach is offering guests who book stays of four nights or more between Nov. 27 and Dec. 5, 2014 (including Cyber Monday) 60 percent off regular rates and a $150 resort credit. Credits can be applied to spa treatments, dining and golf.
