Stuttgart is celebrating its automobile history in earnest.
Mercedes Museum Celebrates 10 Years
The Mercedes Benz Museum began a countdown to its 10th anniversary celebration on Jan. 29 with a celebration in the form of a new exhibition that follows the invention of the automobile, taking visitors on a historical tour through 130 years of cars with a motto of “no future without a past.”
In the exhibit, seven “Legend Rooms” show the chronological order of the history of the automobile, all the way from its invention to the present day.
There are also five “Collection Rooms” that demonstrate the diversity of the Mercedes Benz brand.

Porsche Museum's Inspired Design
Visitors to Stuttgart will also appreciate the Porsche Museum, especially for its design achievements, which the museum further enhanced last year with a new sculpture. “Inspiration 911” honors three different generations of the iconic Porsche 911 with three different designs of the vehicle mounted on posts 78 feet high that are driving straight into the sky, symbolizing the brand’s ongoing push into the future.
