National Geographic author Abbie Kozolchyk just put out a book called "The World's Most Romantic Destinations," and she helps Bloomberg choose some of the best for a romantic proposal in case it's on your mind this Valentine's Day.

"The Philippine archipelago of Palawan - which consists of almost 2,000 islands - has some of the best beaches in the world," writes Nikki Epstein.
Kozolchyk suggests a resort on Lagen Island.
