These Destinations Are Trending for New Year’s 2017

It’s never to early to plan for the New Year and, if you are curious about what destinations are going to be big on New Year’s Eve,’s Travel Hacker Guide is out for the 2016 holiday season, reports Conde Nast Traveler.  

The list ranks the top trending destinations for travel over New Year’s. Not surprisingly, Prince’s Paisley Park is drawing a crowd in Minneapolis, Minnesota, making it the number-10 destination on the list.

There was a “46 percent increase in flight searches compared to previous New Year’s Eve,” says Conde Nast. 

Guadalajara, Mexico is also seeing a boost in flight searches, making it number nine on the list

Go for modernist mansions, a chili pepper sauce–soaked pork torta ahogada, murals of everyone from Diego Rivera to Frida Kahlo and more, says Conde Nast Traveler. 

There was a 51 percent increase in searches for the destination, according to 

Lima, Peru is seeing a 52 percent increase in searches, putting it at number eight .

Conde Nast recommends visiting for MATE Museo Mario Testino, sprawling city markets and the pale pink Convento Santo Domingo. 

Number seven on the list was Amsterdam. For culture enthusiasts, this city is a no-brainer as “one of the continent’s most concentrated pockets of world-class art,” according to Conde Nast. 

Dublin, Ireland, is sixth on the list of trending destinations. Temple Bar is certain to be an NYE hot spot and Conde Nast notes you can extend the journey with a road trip.
