<p><em></p><p>Google is there for us - for pretty much everything we want to know. As a society, we now turn to Google rather than maps or the yellow pages (remember those), for directions, for restaurants - basically everything. So, what do people want to know about travel the most? <a href="http://www.travelandleisure.com/travel-tips/googled-travel-questions" target="_blank">Travel + Leisure</a> did a little digging and found out. </p><p>"Google ranked the travel-related searches with the highest spike in traffic over a sustained period in 2016 as compared to 2015, and the results span the globe," says Jessica Plautz. </p><p>One of the top searches is "Where is Bali?" And Travel + Leisure has the answer. </p><p>"We're so glad you asked. Bali is in Indonesia, southeast of Jakarta and almost due north of Perth, Australia (though the two are about 1,600 miles apart)," writes Plautz. </p><p>Another top question - "What to do in Vegas?"</p><p>Plautz's first response is: "First of all, pay tribute to Cher."</p><p>And if you want to know what to do in San Francisco, another popular Google search, here are some suggestions.</p><p>"Check out the Tartine bakery, get your garlic on at the Stinking Rose restaurant, and take advantage of the many great free activities in the city.</p><p><strong>[READMORE]READ MORE: <a href="http://www.travelpulse.com/news/travel-technology/google-launches-google-trips-mobile-app.html" target="_blank">Google Launches Google Trips Mobile App</a> [/READMORE]</strong></p><p>People also want to know where Corfu, Greece is. </p><p>Travel + Leisure says: "The gorgeous island-with its whitewashed houses, Greek temples, and Venetian fortresses-has all the makings of a great vacation." </p><p>For more of Google's top travel searches, read on <a href="http://www.travelandleisure.com/travel-tips/googled-travel-questions" target="_blank">here</a>. </p>
