TripAdvisor Launches Dedicated Pages for Disney Parks
TripAdvisor announced the launch of dedicated pages for Florida's Disney World Resort and California's Disneyland Resort Thursday, making Disney Parks the first brand to be included as part of the travel website's new initiative to feature popular points of interests including theme parks and airports.
Each page will feature an overview of the resort to provide users with key background information.
Visitors to the new dedicated pages will also find featured points of interest, including popular accommodation options and nearby attractions.
Of course, users will also have access to traveler reviews that can assist them in crafting their itinerary. The pages will includes maps as well, which travelers can access ahead of or during their trip to either resort.
Perhaps the most important feature, the dedicated pages will also include booking tools that will allow users to compare prices as well as book flights and hotels.
On Wednesday, TripAdvisor announced a strategic partnership with the Priceline Group through which some of the latter's online travel brands will participate in TripAdvisor's instant booking platform. Booking.com will be the first brand to list inventory with TripAdvisor, with Priceline.com and Agoda.com likely joining on down the road.
The result of the partnership is a simplified research and booking process for travelers as well as an opportunity for TripAdvisor to boost revenue.
"Millions of travelers search for Walt Disney World and Disneyland vacation options on TripAdvisor, and our new dedicated pages offer a one-stop resource to help them plan and book their trips," TripAdvisor's Senior Vice President of Global Product Adam Medros said in a statement.
