Trump is heading to Palm Beach and the president-elect’s presence may cause some hiccups for travelers, says CBS 12 in Palm Beach.
There will be flight restrictions and added security in the area when he and his family arrive.
“From Tuesday through Thursday, small general aviation aircraft will be limited as to where they can go,” reports Greg Angel.
There may also be traffic disruptions in the area.
“As the Trump family comes and goes, you will want to watch for likely road closures on Southern Boulevard, from PBIA to Mar-A-Largo as the motorcade passes,” says Angel.
The Coast Guard has also set up security zones around the Mar-a-Lago property, according to Palm Beach Post.
“To enter, stop or anchor in the security zones during the designated times, boaters must have permission from the captain of Port Miami,” notes Kristina Webb.

“The security zone is necessary to protect the VIP and accompanying official party, the public, and the surrounding waterway from terrorist acts, sabotage or other subversive acts, accidents, or other causes of a similar nature,” the Coast Guard said in its news release.
And this could be the first of many visits to Palm Beach.
“We are 60 days away from Donald Trump officially becoming the 45th President of the United States, and there is little doubt that Mar-A-Largo will continue to be a favored Trump family retreat. This could be the beginning of many visits to come,” Angel notes.
