VisitEngland has announced its finalists for the Awards of Excellence, which is now entering its 28th year and are designed to reward businesses and individuals that exhibit best practices and excellent customer service.
"The Awards shine a spotlight on an industry driven by the highest-calibre people and organizations who deliver unforgettable experiences for visitors, raising the profile of England as a world-class destination and driving the economic benefits of tourism across the regions," said VisitEngland chief executive Sally Balcombe.
Categories include Best Afternoon Tea, B&B of the Year, Boutique/Guest Accommodation of the Year, Business Tourism Award and many more in a total of 22 categories. Other awards include the Tourism Superstar and Outstanding Contribution to Tourism awards. The awards are important as they promote high standards, helping to ensure England's place as a world-class destination.

Winners are announced at an awards ceremony on April 24 at the Hilton Waldorf in London.
