Myrtle Beach, which was just named America's favorite beach this summer, is working on cultivating an image of a year-round destination - and it has the packages to prove it. Visitors will find savings on everything from golf to girlfriend getaways and we've rounded up a few of the best.
Golf Getaways
Mystical Golf, home to the acclaimed Witch, Man-O-War and Wizard golf courses, is offering two stay-and-play packages perfect for taking advantage of Myrtle Beach's year-round golf season.
Starting Jan. 1, the Gold Package starts at $93. The stay-and-play package includes four rounds of golf with a cart, three nights' lodging in a three-bedroom golf villa, a free iHop breakfast daily and a steak dinner at Logan's Roadhouse. The package also includes two free beers and lunch on the course each day, complimentary daily range balls, $15 toward a golf shirt and more.
The Silver Package, offered at the same time and features three rounds of golf with a cart, two free beers and lunch daily, complimentary range balls and more.
DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront, which was formerly the Springmaid Beach Resort, just completed a resort-wide renovation and debuted in September as the newest member of the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton collection.
For those looking for a Myrtle Beach golf getaway, the property offers guests access to numerous courses as well as several packages.

The Legends 4th Round Free package includes full breakfast, lunch and two beverages per person as well as a choice of four rounds of golf at any combination of the five Legends courses with the fourth round of golf free. Prices start around $444.
Family Vacays
The Beach Cove Resort is at the hub of the "Grand Strand" with oceanfront condos on the beach that offer families all of the comforts of home as well as three outdoor pools, whirlpools, a kiddie pool and a lazy river.
The resort's Winter Manager's Special offers savings of up to 40 percent off.
The Caribbean Resort & Villas offers more than 14 pools, a waterslide, a lazy river, five food and beverage outlets, accommodations with as many as four bedrooms and more.
The Winter Bonanza special offers savings of 40 percent on rack rates with two free breakfasts per day through Dec. 29th.
Girlfriend Getaway
The Horizon at 77th is offering a girlfriend getaway. Perfect for down time, the resort is located on the ocean with an indoor pool, hot tubs, a restaurant and a lounge.
The Girlfriend Getaway Package includes accommodations, buffet breakfast each morning and a dinner one night at the Shoreline Cafe. Guests can choose to add a shopping spree at the Tanger Outlet and save money with a coupon book of savings provided at check in.
