There's "extreme," and then there's this.
The "Mighty Jump" off of Macau Tower isn't just "not for the faint of heart". It might also be not for some of the bravest men and women out there. Freefalling is one thing, but freefalling from one of the tallest and most iconic towers in the world?
Yeah, "where angels fear to tread" might be putting it lightly.
If you can pry your own white knuckles away from your face for a moment, this video from INSIDER posted to their YouTube page has some firsthand looks at the plummet:
To be fair, the "Mighty Jump" isn't only for the craziest of the crazy. Jack Osbourne has done the dive, as has bad boy chef Anthony Bourdain. Not only can you jump off, but people also get their adrenaline pumping by walking around the observation deck and climbing up the tower as well!
The attraction is run by AJ Hackett, who is the name in bungee jumping thanks to his previous world record-holding jump off of the Eiffel Tower. Hackett and his team actually developed a new kind of cord for the Macau jump, which is either really impressive or extra scary depending on how one thinks about it.
Let your pulse return to its normal rate, and then stop trying to pretend you weren't thinking about it.
