While Amsterdam is perhaps best experienced on the ground, travelers to the beloved Dutch tourist destination can now enjoy it from nearly 330 feet off the ground.

Friday, the highest swings in Europe opened in Amsterdam atop the A'DAM Tower overlooking the IJ.

Visitors to the city will find the unique attraction, known as "Over the Edge," on the A'DAM Tower's observation deck, which is also home to A'DAM Lookout.

The attraction swings riders past the edge of the tower nearly 100 meters above the ground. Riders are strapped in and since the swing relies on a hydraulic system, there's no effort required to get moving back and forth.

A'DAM Lookout is open daily with tickets costing $14. Now through Sept. 1 visitors can ride Over the Edge for free with a ticket to A'DAM Lookout. After that a ride will cost a little more than $5.
