According to the following video from YouTube channel Insider, you can have fun and keep cool in the Arizona desert.
The video depicts some wild fun that has been had at Mooney Falls near Lake Havasu, which boasts enticing waters and a fall that will invigorate the spirit. As an added bonus, a rope swing looms by. Considering all the fun you can have without it, its presence is downright near superfluous.
We will take it anyway, because it looks like a whole bunch of fun.
Here is another view from an Instagram channel used in the mashup video.
By now you are burning with curiosity. HitTheTrail.com has a breakdown of Mooney Falls’ location and details that will have you swinging out of the heat and into the respite that is these gorgeous waters. The website explains: “The village of Supai is located about 8 miles down Hualapai Trail and must be passed through to get to the campground another two miles away.”
As noted, you will have to contact officials directly for information like hours and specific ways to get to the falls and how to properly enjoy them.
Still, a little hike and some Internet spelunking is certainly worth that view.
