WATCH: Wakeboarding Through Flooded Moscow

An impressive deluge of rain flooded parts of Moscow as Russia’s capital city experienced a remarkable amount of precipitation this week.

The Associated Press actually puts the amount of rainfall at 3.7 inches by Monday night, which it notes is, “well over the monthly average for August.”

And YouTube was quick to archive the flooding and the impressive sight as the metropolis attempts to meander around the inclement weather.

And, as the following video illustrates, some people found the rain to be a reason for great frivolity.

Not all were having a grand time, as the AP reports some 200 people had to be safely evacuated from various vehicles caught in the ensuing floodwaters. Thankfully, the report also notes that there were no injuries as of Monday night. reports an orange alert was called, which coincided with the Yauza River seeing its banks breached in what was a month’s worth of rain falling in the period between Sunday and Monday evening.
