Have you ever wondered how people from other countries think of the country you live in — or vice versa?
The Telegraph recently looked at what other nations are known for and the results are fascinating.
For example, the United States is known for owning guns — but also for its meat-eating habits. America eats the most meat, consuming 120 kg per person, per year, which is more than Kuwait, Australia, the Bahamas and Luxembourg.
Venezuela is known for beautiful women and cheap gasoline.
“Thanks to a policy of heavy subsidization, petrol costs just $0.01 per liter,” reports the Telegraph.

The country also has six Miss World Winners.
And what do people think of when they think of Costa Rica? Happiness, says the Telegraph.
“Costa Rica is the most cheerful country on earth, according to the Happy Planet Index,” the publication notes.
