New York City might be the place to see the ball drop in Times Square, but Vegas is where you get your party on. Nowhere on earth throws a party quite the way Sin City does, and the list of events for NYE reads like a mobster’s rap sheet.

Topping it off, Vegas’ iconic Strip is shut down to traffic, becoming one big block party in the streets and casinos coordinate fireworks at midnight. There’s really no need to go anywhere other than outside to have a fantastic New Year’s Eve, but several of the city’s hottest venues host New Year’s Eve parties that make the scene outside look like child’s play. Here are some of the hottest acts heading to Sin City for the big night.

Bruno Mars at the Cosmopolitan

Are you a fan of Bruno Mars? Well, on Dec. 31, he’ll be ringing in the New Year with a performance at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Chelsea concert venue.

The hotel is offering a New Year’s Experience package that includes a two night’s stay, two tickets to see Bruno Mars live at The Chelsea, brunch for two and VIP check-in.

Maroon 5 at Mandalay Bay

Maroon 5 will ring in the New Year at Mandalay. The Grammy Award-winning group will help ring in 2016 with a performance at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Tickets are still available and start at $90 and go up to more than $1,000.

Voodoo Zipline at Rio

If you don’t feel like strolling The Strip all night, but want to see the fireworks, Voodoo Rooftop Nightclub on the 51st floor of the Rio All-Suite Las Vegas Hotel will offer up an unforgettable view of the city as it lights up for the celebrations. General admission on New Year’s Eve is $125 and includes a ride on the Voodoo Zipline and a champagne toast at midnight.

High Roller on NYE

Ring in the New Year from 550 feet above Las Vegas on the High Roller at The LINQ in the center of The Strip. For the second year, the iconic observation wheel will offer views of the city on New Year’s Eve from the 14 glass-enclosed cabins at the top half of the wheel, each accommodating up to 25 guests with a full bar and a champagne toast. There are both private cabin experiences and individual tickets available.

The Downtown Countdown

The Strip isn’t the only place to party in Vegas on NYE. Toast the New Year at the Freemont Street Experience street party themed TributePalooza. Thirteen tribute bands will help ring in 2016, including Rio (Duran Duran), Generation Idol (Billy Idol), Fan Halen (Van Halen), No Duh (No Doubt), Red Not Chili Peppers (Red Hot Chili Peppers), The Rising (Bruce Springsteen), Police Experience (The Police), Rockin the Paradise (Styx), Wanted (Bon Jovi), The Who Generation (The Who) Pyromania (Def Leppard), Double Vision (Foreigner) and Don’t Look Back (Boston).

Evolve Vegas NYE

Evolve Vegas NYE is the only gay New Year’s celebration held on The Strip. It returns this year to the Havana Nightclub at the Tropicana. Edie from Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity will emcee the event. Guests can enjoy the indoor/outdoor celebration with views of the fireworks on The Strip at midnight.
