The park’s signature ride is called the Velociraptor, and it is the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the emirate, according to CNN.

Parkgoers who choose to brave the new ride will travel more than 60 miles an hour in less than three seconds, the news agency reported.

In addition to the Velociraptor, the air-conditioned park features 21 other rides and attractions, CNN said. There are 28 places to eat and 25 retail shops in the park as well.

"We wanted this to be an icon for Dubai itself and an icon for the region," IMG Worlds of Adventure CEO Lennard Otto told CNN. "And opening the world's largest indoor theme park seemed very fitting for this market."
