Travelers rejoice, you may be able to travel with your favorite shows. Travel + Leisure is reporting that you may soon be able to travel with your favorite Netflix shows and movies with a new download feature coming soon.

“Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos has alluded to the possibility of the feature, which would make a Wi-Fi connection optional next time you need to binge watch your favorite show,” says Erika Owen.

T+L notes that Sarandos told CNBC that other countries download because of inconsistent Wi-Fi access.

“Now as we've launched in more territories … They all have different levels of broadband speeds and Wi-Fi access. So in those countries they have adapted their behaviors to be much more of a downloading culture,” he says.

While these options are being considered for developing regions, it hasn’t been ruled out that all Netflix users will have these feature.

“We still think for the developed world our thesis has been true but I think as we get into more and more (of the) undeveloped world and developing countries that we want to find alternatives for people to use Netflix easily,” Sarandos told CNBC.

There’s no timeline, but just like over at T+L, our fingers are crossed for having the ability to travel with our favorite shows.
