For amusement park fans looking for a new thrill, Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey has revealed plans to open what officials are calling the first interactive gaming roller coaster.
The roller coaster has been dubbed “Rage of the Gargoyles,” and it will turn passengers into virtual reality fighter pilots who have been tasked with battling against gargoyles.
The track of the roller coaster will measure 1,377 feet long and will feature virtual reality headsets that display high-definition imagery. Passengers on the ride will be able to virtually shoot at the gargoyles using an aiming system based on head movement.
