Actress Amanda Seyfried Was a Fine Flight Attendant on Recent Flight

Amanda Seyfried played a flight attendant on her recent flight from New York to Los Angeles. And as best we can tell, the role netted her little more than gracious smiles from the passengers.

US Weekly’s Allison Corneau reports the 29-year-old actress decided to do some acting while on the cross-country flight.

While many of us are content to wait patiently for flight attendant’s to pass out snacks, Seyfried reportedly was the one doing the passing out.

An anonymous passenger spoke to the publication and divulged what happened on the American Airlines flight: “Amanda just took over and served cookies for the flight attendants! She was super friendly, laughing and joking with the flight attendants for a while. Then she came out with a tray passing everyone the chocolate chip cookies.”

For those not familiar, Seyfried has featured in movies such as “Mean Girls,” “Les Misérables” and the recent “While We’re Young.”

However, her most unheralded role is impromptu attendant.

The source continued, “She was just like, 'Would you like a cookie? Would you like a cookie?' to everyone.”

Unfortunately, the report and social media are fairly mum on the impetus behind the peculiar antic.

Let’s just say this could be one of the many perks of being famous. While most of us would be considered weird or a tad mad to get up and pass out cookies, those with a familiar face can do so for a laugh.

Perhaps this was a way to pass the time and stretch the legs for Seyfried. In any case, we imagine a similar ploy would end with a stern warning and admonishment for attempting to eat all the cookies if we tried it out.

Sometimes celebs get to have all the fun.
