Amy Schumer has owned the spotlight this year, so it makes sense that she would demand your attention during in-flight announcements as well.
The “Trainwreck” star took over hosting duties on “Saturday Night Live,” a distinction given to some of the most popular performers in the pop culture landscape (h/t Digg).
The stand-up comedian who still commands the laughs with her own show “Inside Amy Schumer” was in fine form this past Saturday.
And she even performed a sketch aimed at the travel industry. More specifically, she and the cast imagined what could possibly go wrong during a flight attendant announcement and then dropped that hypothetical onboard a faux Delta flight:
If you were wondering what could possibly go wrong with a rendition of a Spice Girls parody, the answer seems to be an on-board door breach.
Thankfully, in this hilarious universe having the door wide-open means little more than a brief pause to the singing and opportunity for those in their seats to lose their minds.
Adding to her talents as a comedian, Schumer illustrated that she is also quite adept at hanging on to an airplane soaring through the sky.
Perhaps she can star in the next “Mission Impossible” movie.
In case you had forgotten, Schumer joins Tom Cruise as actors who have worked "hanging from an airplane" into their resumes.
