Arnold Schwarzenegger Spotted Boris Biking in London

Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t one to sit idly in a cab or tube train. The man who has graced the screen of so many action movies prefers a much more physically engaging form of transportation.

Mashable’s Sam Haysom reports that recently a very big man was seen riding around London on conveniently located bicycles.

The publication pored over Twitter for proof that the Santander Cycles (more affectionately known as Boris Bikes after mayor Boris Johnson), which are peppered around London, are even enjoyed by the Hollywood elite.

Here is a sampling of the fervor Schwarzenegger caused by just pedaling around town, beginning with a fan whose rare sighting led to a tweet back from the Terminator himself:

Images of the relatively pleasant jaunt filled the Internet in kind:

Haysom reminds that Schwarzenegger is in town to screen “Terminator: Genysis” where he reprises his role as the Terminator — a character that is sent back in time to either help or maim depending on the movie, causing destruction regardless of the cinematic iteration.

This is also the second time we referenced the man who taught us the value of a good explosion in movies.

Earlier this week we reported that navigation app Waze was bringing Schwarzenegger’s voice to your travels to promote the same movie.

From voicing directions to reminding you of the importance of a sound biking infrastructure, Schwarzenegger is taking over the world.

And that’s well before we are once again entertained by the questionable time travel escapades of a now gray-haired but still awesome Terminator.
