Actors playing superheroes travel the world, an Eiffel Tower image causes bedlam and we have a week of amazing news to cover.
Before you head off to the theater to see the latest adventures of Iron Man and company, consider some of the beautiful inanity from the last few days.
Thanks to the Internet, we learned, among other things, that it’s possible to walk atop the gigantic Orlando Eye and that you don’t always have to pay for a once-in-a-lifetime boxing bout.
Of course we love silly travel stories, so feel free to sound off on some that tickled that fancy of yours.
With that, let’s round up some truly captivating stories.
Avengers Take Over the World:
“Avengers: Age of Ultron” is the biggest movie opening this week. However, the cast and crew just completed what we presume is the most exhausting itinerary around the world.
There is just no rest for the weary, especially those called in to thwart any sentient beings acting a fool.
Nik Wallenda’s Morning Walk:
Nik Wallenda’s brief walks are not like your leisurely strolls. The famed wire-walker took on the mammoth task of walking on top of the Orlando Eye this week, becoming the first person to do so.
We will settle for being one of the many people who will soon ride in the giant wheel.
Saturday is a Good Day to Be in Mexico:
Some of you may have timed your trip to Mexico perfectly, because the biggest fight of the century will be shown on TV for free in Mexico.
While the rest of us will be forking over about $100, those down south will get ample opportunity to watch on either Televisa or Azteca.
Take a Bow, Internet:

One man’s silly vacation picture is the Internet’s opportunity for hilarity.
Thanks to Yves Van de Van’s friend who requested some Internet tweaks to Van de Van’s Eiffel Tower picture, we get a cavalcade of comedy with some truly ludicrous images.
One Scoop of Luxury:
Normally $817 will get you a ton of great food. In one Dubai ice cream parlor it will get you all of one scoop.
Scoopi Café is reportedly offering the Black Diamond, which is an item that comes with edible gold flakes, a Versace cup and other extravagant ingredients.
Now head into the weekend with the knowledge that you are now making money by choosing regular delicious ice cream fare.
