Bear Opens Car Door In Yellowstone, Humans Not Amused

A Yellowstone black bear opened a car door recently, leading to a captivating video of an animal that may just have thought its Uber ride had finally arrived.

Fox News reports on the following video that shows a Yellowstone black bear attempting to hitch a ride.

Because bears are dangerous and take up far too much room regardless of how spacious your minivan might be, the human contingent kindly dismisses the bear.

Of course, the sight of the animal opening the car door was too much to bear for the children who were understandably terrified.

Thankfully, nobody seems to be harmed – save one bear’s ego.

A motherly voice can be heard to say, “Stop screaming.”

A childlike retort perhaps could have been proffered in the form of, “It’s not every day that an enormous black bear tries to get dad out of the car like a valet attempting to break the day’s record of cars parked, so I apologize for raising my voice.”

Instead, the children seem to settle and the car drives off leaving a bear to its own devices. We have no way of knowing, but we presume there’s a bear on the side of the road right now showing off its gams and attempting to lure a car to pick it up.

Please refrain from lurking near this bear for too long, because it wants to ride shotgun without ever calling it.

It’s rude, presumptuous and, you know, a bear. So, um, lock your doors.
