BMX Rider Takes Us On Ridiculous Adventure Throughout New York City

New York City is a wide-open BMX wonderland, perfectly situated for extreme bike riders who want to zig and zag around the streets.

Well, it is for Nigel Sylvester at any rate.

The following video (h/t The Awesomer) features the pro BMX rider gallivanting across the city as if the town were nothing more than a bike park designed for him and his buddies.

Even an ATV shows up for a brief cameo right before Sylvester takes off in the most over-the-top conveyance presented in this video.

It’s a quick glimpse of a city from a point of view very few have ever enjoyed:

Sylvester pretty much says it all as he darts in and out of traffic, passing by a couple of cops out on patrol.

The brilliant BMX rider pauses to look up at the flashing lights of Times Square to remark, “I love this city, man.”

And we get that sentiment through a frantic video that is almost a love letter from one athlete to the city that buzzes all around him as he embarks on a midday journey.

Now we have to warn against such actions. Because we imagine biking against traffic is hazardous to your health.

However, we certainly stand in awe from this video that left us absolutely smitten with New York City as if we are seeing it for the first time.
