New Mexico is a beautiful place that is bursting with vitality and opportunity, according to the guy who fictitiously ran an epic meth ring in the state.

Bryan Cranston (h/t KOAT) delivers a stirring narration performance in the latest New Mexico tourism video.

Really, the gorgeous visuals would be enough to sell us on the opportunity in the state, but the video utilizes words from Cormac McCarthy and added depth from Cranston’s voice.

In the end, we are forced to consider hiking amazing trails or riding effervescent waters. And it’s mostly thanks to Tim Whatley:

This is hardly the first time Cranston, who famously played Walter White on AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” gave a tip of the hat to the wonderful state.

KRQE reminds us with the following video:

As KOAT reminds, the now completed show has been tremendous for New Mexico’s tourism.

Visit Albuquerque even has a page dedicated to getting out and seeing various “Breaking Bad” sites around town.

In this way Cranston continues to lend a hand and literal voice to the campaign. It’s clear the actor greatly admires the destination. And, from the images in the video, we should all consider digging a bit deeper to see what makes it so special.

Thankfully, and perhaps wisely, there was no mention of any fictitious chemistry teachers becoming major drug kingpins in the video.
