Despite your memories of nearly falling asleep in class so many years ago, history can be quite hilarious.
Conan O’Brien will unveil a historic show on Wednesday, March 4, when he premieres his episode taped in Cuba—that forgotten paradise that is being found anew thanks to eased travel restrictions.
What follows is but a teaser for the episode that airs tonight, but it promises the kind of hilarity we have come to expect from Conan.
O’Brien will dance the streets, explain who he is to locals and discover the ubiquity that is sweet wine.
We previously noted that O’Brien was the first late-night host to tape a portion of a show in Cuba since Jack Paar did it in 1959.
Finally, we get to see what a historic turn looks like when the 51-year-old host is at the helm. Our assumption is that it will be an engrossing affair.
In the end, we are left with a huge hole highlighted by silly antics and humorous gaffes. That hole can only be filled with a trip to Cuba, where a vibrant culture is awaiting to sweep you off your feet.
