Confounding British Homes Explained by Anglophenia's Delightful New Host

Anglophenia once again answers our burning British questions with charm, humor and detail. This time the YouTube channel does so with a new face as well.

Now we have highlighted this channel before with such videos on Christmas in Britain and clothing dilemmas.

This time around we get acquainted with the homes that comfort our neighbor’s across the pond.

As we soon find out from new host Kate Arnell, walking through a British home may cause a bit of confusion.

So for those of you about to head off to an Airbnb or to stay with pals in the UK, please heed a rather informative video:

For those interested, you can still keep up with Siobhan Thompson on Twitter and at her website.

But it seems this channel that aims to clear up a wide swath of cultural questions for Americans about our British brethren is in good hands.

While just one video, Arnell is a welcoming host who has us absolutely giddy to learn a great deal more about the country.

And as for the video, we have to say the British have things right by including a washing machine in the kitchen. We were feeling a bit awkward about always bringing the potato chips into the laundry room while doing a load.

And we have to applaud your lack of air conditioning, which can be a necessity in some parts of the United States.

With that, we are now prepared for a UK sleepover, which mandates knowing when to use the bathroom and when to visit the loo.
