Fans of Crosby, Stills & Nash with a hankering to see London have the perfect cruise to target later this year.
The Los Angeles Times' Mary Forgione reports the group is about to launch a 2015 tour of Japan in March, but they will also delight fans aboard the Queen Mary 2 when it departs New York for London in September.
That's right, David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash will be onboard delighting the shorts-wearing masses with their iconic hits.
Nash offered his thoughts on the upcoming journey: "This will be a unique experience for us. We're really looking forward to making music, bringing back memories and creating new ones."
Here they are performing "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" in 2012:
You can get more information on the event at Cunard Lines' official website, which has rooms available starting at a reported "$1,449 plus tax and fees," via LA Times.
The announcement, however, comes at a difficult time for the band as People Magazine reports Dallas W. Taylor, the drummer who performed with the group in the 1960s, including at the famed Woodstock concert in 1969, passed away at age 66.
Richard Meadows, president of Cunard Line North America, offered the following on welcoming the band aboard Queen Mary 2: "We are excited to welcome Crosby, Stills & Nash onboard Queen Mary 2 during Cunard's 175th anniversary year. Having these music legends perform will be nothing less than thrilling for our passengers."
More than performing hits live, the band will also offer a Q&A and autograph session for fans interested in getting to know these rock stars a bit better.
As for the trip, it will leave port on Sept. 4 and dock in England on Sept. 11, giving every passenger ample time to enjoy the other festivities planned aboard the ship.
