Danny Trejo Set to Open Biker Bar-Themed Taco Joint in Los Angeles

His iconic mustache and gruff voice garners fans worldwide. However, Danny Trejo’s next endeavor will be to sate the hunger of those looking for a fantastic taco in Los Angeles.
Eater LA reported back in December that the 70-year-old actor who has performed in such movies as Desperado, Machete and Con Air was to open his own taco shop called Trejo's Tacos.
NBC News picked up on the budding restaurant that is inching ever closer to opening its doors to Angelinos suffering from severe hunger pangs.
The actor himself has been teasing the opening with delightful tweets:
The restaurant is set to open at some point in March and takes over a location previously occupied by Taco Bell.
But from fast-food origins comes truly satisfying nuanced fare. LA Weekly provides more in a report from last August on a restaurant that will finally see its doors opened to the public shortly.
The report hints on the cuisine as well as the décor that awaits fans of seriously good food: “Inside, black Venetian plaster, black leather upholstered seating, and custom black-and-blue tile murals will create a vibe somewhere between hip urban taqueria and biker bar. Beer and wine will be served alongside tacos and other Mexican cuisine.”
Now we would suggest eating if only to negate actually turning into Danny Trejo, because that does tend to happen to some when they are hungry.
