David Arquette, the 43-year-old actor from such works as the “Scream” franchise and that one “Friends” episode where he is in love with Phoebe’s sister, married his girlfriend of four years over the weekend.

The former Mr. Courtney Cox enjoyed a private affair at Los Angeles’ famed Cicada Restaurant, which is a location you may have seen before — although you may not have known it at the time.

As for the nuptials, InStyle Magazine provides a glimpse of the happy couple in the following image tweeted to the masses:

InStyle’s Rita Kokshanian reported the various particulars on what we assume was a glorious and picturesque wedding between Arquette and Christina McLarty.

According to the report, there were just 230 people who made it out to the downtown venue that sits across the street from the iconic Biltmore Hotel.

McLarty actually explained to Kokshanian, “The most important aspect was just to get our families together.”

And the report hints at a wedding that was just that, a family affair. It seems to have been intimate, classy, and just what can be expected with any foray into the Cicada.

And that’s where we come to the location that has featured in so many works of film and television.

In “Pretty Woman”

In “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”

The location has also been used for the movies “The Artist,” “Bruce Almighty,” and “Indecent Proposal.”

It’s also been used, as IMDB states, for episodes of “Mad Men.” If that weren’t enough, states it has also featured in “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” and “Scandal.”

And you, the non-acting public, can enjoy its wonderfully classic confines by booking it for your wedding, or just reserving a table for dinner.

There is even an ongoing Cicada Club calendar that brings swinging music to the forefront of the restaurant, getting patrons to loosen the ties and dance to tunes that blend perfectly with the delightful décor.

With just a step inside you will get a whiff of the ambiance that has made this place such a treat for Angelenos who wish to time travel for a weekend romp in the city or that special day when they pledge their love for eternity.
