Denmark and Colombia Unveil Nifty McDonald's Bike Ride-Thru Option

While we Americans enjoy our McDonald’s super-sized and via an automobile, the rest of the world is beginning to learn the joy that is the ride-thru window.
AdWeek reports on a promising new development in fast-food conveyance, which is just now rolling out in Denmark and Colombia.
The report explains, “Tribal Buenos Aires in Argentina came up with the McBike idea, which was implemented first in Denmark, oddly enough, but seems to be spreading quickly around the globe.”
With peppy music and bike riders smiling ear-to-ear, the video may have you considering heading on out to the local McDonald’s via bike ride rather than shackled by that immense car you own:
We would love to see the aftermath of these pleasant trips to McDonald’s, because our own usually ends in heavy breathing and guilt.
Then again, it seems those in Denmark order reasonable portions when they are on the go.
We presume we will have to wait for American implementation until they figure out how to infuse the magic that makes possible stuffing 20 nuggets, a Big Mac and large fry into that small container.
As the video notes, the McBike packaging will soon come to Amsterdam as well as Japan, which gives locals and tourists alike a nice option for cheap food as they gallivant around town.
And, as the saying I just invented goes, there is nothing like a bike ride and a burger.
