A local Dalek was seen Thursday bumping around London and generally enjoying the comforts of public transportation.
Mashable’s Kimberly Truong spotted several images on the Internet that hint at either the beginning stages of a time war or a clever marketing campaign to ring in another season of “Doctor Who.”
Then again, the following images could just be of a Dalek who is late for work or merely visiting the area.
In any case, Whovians have to adore the sight of an iconic bad guy roaming Westminster Underground and the streets outside.
Here is a glimpse thanks to Twitter:
They're not getting the full tube experience. Is there a photo of a Dalek, plunger up, trying to avoid eye contact? pic.twitter.com/IigxDtwmaR— Scott Reid (@scottreid1980) September 17, 2015
We assume Doctor Who News has it correct when it offers: “The ‘Masters of Earth’ could be seen today in and around Westminster Underground Station, in celebration of their (and the Doctor's!) return to television this weekend.”
Shame on you if you have forgotten, but “Doctor Who” returns this Saturday, Sept. 19 on BBC One at 7:40 local time.
Locally, you can enjoy the Series 9 exploits on BBC America on the same day at 9 p.m.
