If you’re in the mood for romance deep in the heart of India, you can make like a bunch of celebrities and head to the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, or if you are so inclined, that second one.

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel opens nationwide on Friday, giving audiences a glimpse of some truly picturesque locations.

Thankfully, you can visit these very places where love seems to be as much an amenity as a comfortable bed.

As most fans are aware, the sequel to the hit 2011 movie follows Sonny Kapoor (Dev Patel) as he embarks upon opening a second location for his budding chain of hotels.

The Daily Mail’s Helen Roberts reports on the initial hotel that saw a huge boon in visitors thanks to the original movie that featured the likes of Judi Dench and Bill Nighy.

That influx will only increase with the addition of Richard Gere to the mix. Roberts writes, “Now, the man who owns the Ravla Khempur told MailOnline that people who visit his hotel from all over the world are dying to know all about the Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride star.”

Feel free to lob your own Hollywood questions if you find the opportunity to visit the now iconic hotel.

The hotel that has favorable reviews on TripAdvisor is located in Udaipur, where many flock to experience just a touch of what is presented on the big screen.

Roberts spoke with Hemant Deval who owns the Ravla Khempur. He offered that changes were on the way to embrace the newfound tourism: “The hotel is going to introduce the Marigold buffet and we'll include the crew's favourites which were Mutton Rajputana, black lentils with asafoetida, chicken with spinach sauce. We'll also have the traditional dish called Chandli (a thick paste of mixed leaves) and buttermilk which were favourites of Richard Gere.”

This video takes the curious on a brief tour:

And if you are wondering what a hit movie can do for business, Roberts states the hotel has seen a 40 percent uptick in reservations since 2012.

As for the second best accommodations in India, Pearl Palace Heritage is located in Jaipur and features a wealth of amenities, including a boastful declaration on its website: “Named ‘Most Romantic’ Hotel in India.”

Here are some images of a few familiar faces:

We can only speculate how things might fare for the Jaipur lodging, but if the first movie is any guide, the resort is about to be hit with caravans of eager tourists who can’t get enough of the film franchise.

From screen to reality, India has a pair of gems that aren’t so hidden anymore, thanks to a pair of movies that highlight far more than the actors. The two biggest stars may just be these darling hotels.
